I’m a designer, researcher, photographer, adventurer, mom, wife, sister, daughter, friend, community member, dog-lover.

I like to talk about what we didn’t ship. The trade-off chosen. The iterations moved to ‘archive’ page. This process keeps me grounded in evidence based, outcome focused framework for design decisions. I’m a systems thinker. Design was never meant for a silo. I enjoy being part of a team. I will try and make whomever is in charge of writing requirements my bestie. I firmly believe in keeping a human in the loop.

In my free time, I’m on a trail, on a board, on a bike, baking, dancing, hosting a book swap or just tryna practice gratitude.

When photo was life, I cut my teeth as a digital tech in NYC’s editorial photo scene. 5am subway rides on location or to MILK studios. Last minute rentals from Fast Ashleys. Shooting my own work on film and spending the last of my rent money developing medium format at C labs. I then captured destination and alternative weddings for a decade before landing in commercial photography. My work was on billboards! That was wild.

My days are spent with IBM. While I’m not currently looking for full time work, I’m always open for a convo. I still make photos when I make time.
